TGIF...

...cause this Friday was pretty good. We got a bit of stuff done around here. Did some brainstorming for the Pillsbury Bake-Off (more on that in my Kitchen...) that was pretty productive. Ran some errands and picked up some much needed items at Walmart, and a bit of food at Winco (and Albertson's...for the Bake-Off). Went looking for some cordstops, as I can trade them to Silver Dragon for her older scrubs, as she just got new ones. Went to where I thought there was a Jo Ann Fabrics, since that's where she got some before. Turned out it was a Hancock Fabrics and they were out. Grrr. I shall look in the phone book.

Our son had gotten into the habit of staying home when we go out, and we got into the habit of letting him. That ended today. He was dragged along. And when the errands were done, it was time to get a cheap dinner at Del Taco (yes, our So Cal roots are showing...). Then we went down the street to the Regal Cinema and saw Quantum of Solace, the second of the new Bond movies (finally). We all thought it was good, and worth owning a copy of, though not quite as good as the first. Of course, it could just be that my wife has the hots for Daniel Craig...LOL. I thought Olga (the primary Bond girl in this movie) was attractive, but not as hot as the one that got killed early on in the first film. Sigh...

All in all, its been a good day.

I-5 has been reopened north of us already. So Gina's sister is coming north. We may or may not see her, and our niece, tomorrow. Who knows.

Need to wind things up and get some sleep. G'night, all.
