...would all describe how I've felt most of the day. My stomach has been troublesome, and my mid-upper back has been hurting. Too much moving of big patients this last week, I suspect, and our worn-out mattress. Not enough sleep. Despite the fact that I was only working an eight-hour shift today, rather than my usual twelve, it was a very long work day for me. So I am really glad I got out of there at 1PM.
The rest of the day is for R&R. Tomorrow...lots and lots of things to do.
Here's some medical humor for you...
-The aging process could be slowed down if it had to work its way through Congress.
-The cardiologist's diet: if it tastes good, spit it out.
-Doctor to patient: I have good news and bad news: the good news is that you are not a hypochondriac.
