Been a Couple of Days...

...since I last wrote anything. I worked yesterday and today...mostly I sat with a couple of patients, which was pretty easy work (with these particular individuals). Nice, really. Nothing too strenuous. And today was my 8-hour shift. I like getting off work at 1PM.

Gina made these peanut butter-and-chocolate brownies that were so evil that her cat Pennywise ate most of one. I won't say how many I've eaten these two days. Anyway, I was instructed to take the remainder to work, where they didn't survive the morning. Lol...

It snowed off-and-on today, but the snow didn't stick. Hallelujah. It still took me over an hour to get home since that was more than enough excuse for Portlanders to choke on the roads and highways. Grrr...

While I was at work today, our goofy young cat, Gulliver, managed to lap up a good half-a-bottle of beer he spilled, got falling down drunk, and slept a good chunk of the afternoon away. Our budding young alkie...

And I made a goulash dish, a marriage of American and Eastern European goulashes, that Gina and Matt liked so well that I will enter it in the Ultimate Recipe Showdown. We are full.

I am off the next two days. I am very happy about that.
