Odds-N-Ends...

I made out the grocery list this morning. We spent the first half of the day shopping at Costco, Winco, Walmart, etc. Yay. That pretty much wore us out, after a night plagued by cats squabbling over their positions on our bed. Ugh.

Saw an episode of Monsterquest where they were searching for the Boggy Creek swamp monster...another bigfoot-like case. They did find a footprint that was some thirteen inches long, and of the wrong proportions for a human footprint. Whether it was genuine or not...?

There was a commercial advertising a coming show called Warriors(http://www.history.com/content/warriors), coming in March. It will spotlight various warrior cultures and groups. Looks interesting.

The History channel went from Monsterquest into a show about the burial of Abraham Lincoln and the wild history surrounding his body, including an attempt, by counterfeiters, to steal the body and hold it for ransom. Unfortunately for them, they recruited two Secret Service informants to help them... Embalming became popular during the Civil War. Embalming "doctors" actually followed the armies, looking for battles and business. People could prepay for their services. President Lincoln was even an "advertisement" for embalming. His body was hidden under a pile of lumber for a couple of years, at one point. The whole thing was bizarre.

And I got to see Anderson "Spider" Silva pound yet another MMA fighter into unconsciousness before the first round ended. He's such a skilled fighter. Definitely a cut (or two) above the norm.

I've got a ton of things to do tomorrow. G'night, All...hope things are good in your world.
