Haven't Felt Much Like Blogging Lately, But...

Our daughter and her family are returning from Germany this afternoon. We haven't seen them for three years, and we've never seen our granddaughter, K, in person. Gina is climbing the walls with excitement and baking madly right now. I spent last night assembling our grandson's bed last night...a Lightning McQueen Cars bed. I think it had about forty stickers to be applied. I am not an Indy Car Pit Crew member, nor (after last night) do I ever wish to be. We walked through the Salvation Army thrift store yesterday, and they have a "free stuffed animals" table...I found the perfect stuffed animal for a four-year-old grandson...a stuffed tarantula bigger than my hand...lol. It has fine, fine yarn for the "hairs" all over the legs and body. I'm getting off work at 1300 today, which is good. More later...
