This is the Cedar Creek Grist Mill, just outside of Woodland, and about fifteen minutes from our house. Gina went there a couple of weekends ago with some friends. She wanted me to see the place, while we were out shopping today. They were closed so we just enjoyed the scenery and the sounds of the busy creek. Here in a couple of months we're supposed to be able to see Pacific Lampreys(!) migrating up the creek. A very beautiful, very peaceful spot. The mill has been in operation since 1876, and still is today.Friday, April 24, 2009
We Went Here Today...
