Perhaps those of you who are interested in reality should read more and re-educate yourselves about the myths of obesity. Read the article "Even obesity paradoxes can't 'excuse' fatness" (and many more articles like it), by Sandy Szwarc, at her blog "Junk Food Science". Obesity is big business (and blind prejudice, in my opinion), and I suspect much of the "evidence" we are presented with is little more than a thinly disguised marketing blitz and poor science.
